Frank Strong, 83, of Woodland Mills passed away 10:51 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rick Ruybalid will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Beckman, Cole Beckman, Diego Ruybalid, Tri Yandell, Anthony Strong and Mike Strong.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Frank was born August 1, 1940, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late J.C. and Golda (Carlton) Strong. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 28 years of service. Frank enjoyed fishing, reading, and working crossword puzzles.

He is survived by two daughters, Kim Ruybalid and husband Rick of Chandler, Arizona and Kelley Yandell and husband Tri of Hermitage; and three grandsons, Kenneth Beckman of China Grove, North Carolina, Cole Beckman of Madison and Diego Ruybalid of Chandler, Arizona.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Strong and James Strong.
