Mr. Franklin D. Nichols, 80, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 4:20 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Pentecostal Church. Rev. Billy Uzzle and Rev. Dwayne Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Brownsville Cemetery near Hickman.

Pallbearers will be Eric Williams, Tyler Dunn, Joe Stewart, Jason Bachler, J.T. West and Donnie Lane.

Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Frank was born September 12, 1940, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Henry and Clara (Adams) Nichols. He married Jane (Graham) Nichols October 28, 1958. She survives. He was a lifelong farmer and member of First Pentecostal Church in Union City.

He is also survived by two daughters, Debra Parker of Hickman, Kentucky and Susan Nichols of Fulton, Kentucky; two sons, Mark Nichols (Wanda) and Johnny Nichols all of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Joann Lyell (Merlin) of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Lee Nichols and Rosco V. Nichols; and two sisters, Ruth Chilton and Effie Lane.
