Mr. Odis Frank Anderson, 91, of Union City died 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in
McKenzie. Brother Eddie Mallonee and Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.

Mr. Anderson was born November 11, 1917, in Weakley County, son of the late Raymond and Lena (Ramsey) Anderson. He married the former Mae Childress December 27, 1941. She died May 20, 2003. Mr. Anderson was a retired carpenter, member of Second Baptist Church, was an ordained Deacon, member of Gleason Masonic Lodge #330, Carpenters Union Local 1539 in Des Plaines, Illinois and a World War II United States Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Jerry Buchanan of Union City and Judy and Rickey Smith of Lewisburg; one son, Al Anderson of Union City; seven grandchildren, Jerry Buchanan Jr. of Franklin, Lori Cox of Union City, Pam Buchanan of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott Smith and Stephanie Wilson both of Lewisburg, Jeffrey Anderson of Lansing, Illinois and Jason Anderson of Glenwood, Illinois; twelve great grandchildren; and one sister, Ethel Turner of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley
Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers to serve will be Jeffrey Anderson, Robert Baird, Gerald Cox, Danny Ridinger, Larry Ridinger and Bobby Wilson.
