Mrs. Frances Marie Wroten, 90, of Union City died 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Jackson Doss will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Frances was born March 13, 1935, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Lovie Clyde (Parker) Riley.  She married Arthur "Gene" Wroten March 24, 1956.  He passed away January 12, 2013.  She worked for the former Brown Shoe Company in Union City.

She is survived by three daughters, Paula Britt of Union City, Linda Ladd of Kingsland, Georgia and Amy Jo Rodriguez of Union City; one son, Randy Wroten (Natalie) of Tullahoma; eight grandchildren, Haley Goodman (Julian), Macie Choate (Ryne), Dusty Ladd, Chad Counsell (Sara), April Counsell, Savannah Jo McMillin, Sierra McMillin and Jacob Wroten (Jennifer); seven great grandchildren; and two brothers, N.D. Riley of Union City and Clyde Riley of Hickman, Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Riley and James Riley; and one sister, Juanita Short.
