Frances Poland's Obituary
Frances Irene (Doss) Poland, 98, of Union City passed away 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Magnolia Place Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be private.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
Mrs. Poland was born April 5, 1920, in Elbridge, daughter of the late Shellie Tillman and Florence (Vernon) Doss. She married Kenneth Poland in 1957. He preceded her in death August 14, 2010. Mrs. Poland was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Lee Asbridge of Kenton; two granddaughters and their spouses, Laura and Michael Halbrook and Leena and Jerry Mincey all of Memphis; and two great granddaughters, Harper Halbrook and Scarlett Halbrook both of Memphis.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Elwood Doss, Sr., Morris Doss and Horace Doss.
