Frances Helen Lombardo, 80, of Union City passed away 3:40 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019, at her home.

Memorial visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Frances was born September 10, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late John and Ida (Smith) Gucciardi. She married Mario Lombardo March 15, 1967. He preceded her in death June 7, 2007. Frances was a homemaker and enjoyed going to casinos.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Keri and Paul Sanders of Union City; one son, Mario Lombaro of Detroit, Michigan; three grandsons, Timothy Cisilino of Long Beach, California, Chance Sanders of Tucson, Arizona and Aaron Sanders of Vista, California; she was affectionately known as "GiGi" to her eight great grandchildren, Austin Moore, Connor Mead, Brooklyn Mead, Brayden Sanford, Hope Sanford, Georgia Sanders, Chance Sanders and Lonnie Moore; one sister, Sandra Grams of Union City; one brother, Samuel Gucciardi of Union City; one brother-in-law, Paul Taylor of London, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Kathy Gucciardi of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Lombardo; two sisters, Katie Taylor and Pat Constante; and one brother, John Gucciardi.
