Flossie Dee McDaniel, 96, of Union City passed away 10:45 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Massey will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in the Antioch community.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Flossie was born July 4, 1929, in Obion County, daughter of the late John Aron and Lula Mae (Smith) Napier. She married Dale McDaniel April 5, 1953. He preceded her in death July 27, 2010. Flossie retired from Kellogg's in Memphis after 22 years of service. She had been a pink lady at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City and enjoyed making pies for family members and friends. She was a member of Antioch Union Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and David Anderson of Skiatook, Oklahoma; her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Melissa McDaniel of Heber, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Dale McDaniel and wife Tonya Roland, Arkansas, Mark McDaniel and wife Megan of Arlington, Julie Hathcote and husband Matt of Roland, Arkansas, Amanda Smith and husband John and Asley Anderson and Aaron Anderson all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren, Dale McDaniel, Demi McDaniel, Dax McDaniel, Brinkley Hathcote and Hunts Hathcote all of Roland, Arkansas and Maggie McDaniel and Madalyn McDaniel both of Arlington; two half brohters, Waye Napier and wife Bonnie of Union City and Stephen Napier of Zachary, Louisiana.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd Napier, Cliff Napier, John Napier and Howard Napier; and one half brother, Donald Napier.
