Obituary

Faye Winters Kilpatrick, 93, of Franklin passed away 3:27 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at her home. She was a former resident of Union City.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Obion County Memorial Gardens.  Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate.  There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to Waves, Inc. in honor of Trey James.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was born August 4, 1926, in Gibson County, daughter of the late William Ernest and Ailene (Bartlett) Winters. She married Thomas Euin "Tom" Kilpatrick April 1, 1944. He preceded her in death October 25, 2004. Faye was a retired bookkeeper at E.W. James corporate office. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.

She is survived by her daughter, Tommye Faye James of Franklin; one granddaughter, Lee Ann James of Franklin; one grandson, David James II (Meshea) of Franklin; three great grandchildren, Trey James, Kimberly James and Anna James all of Franklin; one sister, Jo Ann Reed of Dyer; and one brother, Jimmy Winters (Lavera) of Mason Hall.

She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, David James; and one sister, Christine Morrow.
