Obituary

Fannie Mae Gray, 61, of South Fulton passed away 2:49 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at
West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Robin Rotgers will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Blair, Chris Gray, Gene Gray, Jimmy Butler, Josh Butler and Donnie Bryant.

Fannie was born August 6, 1957, in Dyersburg, daughter of Margie Mae (Boles) Grooms of Union City and the late Kermit Denton Grooms. She was a homemaker.

She is also survived by her fiancé, Gary Horton of South Fulton; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Johnny Butler of Union City; one son, James Gray of Union City; seven grandchildren, Samantha Butler, Nikki Butler, J.D. Butler, Reice Gray, Champ Gray, Cadence Gray and Roman Gray all of Union City; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Hazel Butler of Dyersburg, Joan Cook of Milan, Pam Shoulders of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mary Lamb of Nashville; and one brother, Richard Grooms of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Wendy Dawn Grooms.
