Mrs. Etta Blanche (Kendall) Harris, 89, of Union City passed away 3:31 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Watts and Rev. Jimmy Calhoun will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Jim Murphy, Steve Walker, Ryan Brown, Jaime Murphy, Micah Murphy and Pete Codinha.

Honorary pallbearers will be elders of the Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 631 East Church Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261.

Mrs. Harris was born January 14, 1927, in Obion County, daughter of the late Isaac Crossno and Effie Mae (Goodman) Kendall. She married Cy Harris October 14, 1948. He survives. Mrs. Harris was a member of Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She had been employed at the Oak Ridge Atomic Plant, Sears in Memphis and was a homemaker. Ms. Etta had been an avid fan of Obion County Central High School basketball for 43 years.

She is also survived by three daughters, Becky Brown of Houston, Texas, Cynthia (Jim) Murphy of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Donna (Steve) Walker of Union City; six grandchildren, Ryan (Lynettte) Brown of Houston, Texas, Commander Jaime (Katie) Murphy of Mechanicsburg, Pennnsylvania; Commander Micah (Sarah) Murphy of Washington, D.C., Amanda (Steve) Huson of St. Charles, Illinois, Autumn (Pete) Codinha of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Erica Walker of Memphis; and ten great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her ten siblings, Jim Kendall, Powell Kendall, Will Kendall, Carl Kendall, Ray Kendall, Luther Kendall, Frank Kendall, Ada Rebecca Batts, Martha Lee McFarland and Samuel Kendall.
