Obituary

Mrs. Ella Ree Williamson, 82, of Union City died 3:10 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2010, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date at Shiloh Cemetery in Sontag, Mississippi.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Mrs. Williamson was born November 28, 1928, in Lawrence County, Mississippi, daughter of the late Mosby Ray and Ruth (Bass) Sills. She married W.B. "Dub" Williamson on December 23, 1944. He died July 10, 1996. She had been employed as a seamstress at the former Kellwood Manufacturing in Monticello, Mississippi and was a Baptist.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Yates of Union City; three sisters, Ann Shannon of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Myrtle Long of Rockport, Mississippi and Grace Thompson of Hazelhurst, Mississippi; two brothers, James Sills of Salt Lake City, Utah and Ted Sills of Monticello, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Chris Nations and Ken Brock both of Sontag, Mississippi, Walter Vincent, Michael Vincent and Ashley Yates all of Union City, Roger Vincent of Seattle, Washington, Brad Brock of McComb, Mississsippi and Greg Brock of Brookhaven, Mississippi; and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Sills, Earl Sills and George Sills and two sisters, Dell McDonald and Nell Hall.
