Mrs. Elizabeth Conner Mansfield, 88, of Union City passed away 6:20 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Entombment will follow in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Elizabeth was born September 3, 1931, in Linden, Tennessee, daughter of the late Edgar Lee and Blanche (Lomax) Taylor. She was the widow of Irue V. Conner. Elizabeth had been employed as a sales clerk at Montgomery Ward in Livonia, Michigan and was a member of East Hickman Baptist Church in Hickman, Kentucky.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Belinda Bass and Connie and Johnny Rice all of Union City; one granddaughter and her husband, Jessica Norstrand and Nick of Wyandotte, Michigan; one great grandson, Andrew Conner Gatteri of Wyandotte, Michigan; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Jan Taylor of Hickman, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty McClure and Peggy James.
