Elbert Lee "Tuffy" Bobo, 71, of Union City passed away 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Lloyd Wayne Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be David Moore, David Tidwell, Skyler Slaughter, Johnny Moore, Charles Moore and Dell Cummings.

Elbert was born May 10, 1949, in Obion, son of the late Glen Albert and Dorothy Jean (Fitz) Bobo. He married Pat (Moore) Bobo February 17, 1973. She survives. Elbert retired from the City of Union City Public Works Department after 25 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is also survived by three daughters, Becky Bobo, Anita Moore (David) and Jessica Bobo all of Union City; five grandchildren, Taylor Slaughter (Skyler) of Obion, Hailey Kemp of Troy and Eric Moore, Emily Smith (Jessie) and Brandon Rumfelt all of Union City; one great granddaughter, Sophia Smith of Union City; one sister, Kathy Etheridge of Dyersburg; and four brothers, David Bobo (Pat), Donnie Jones and David Jones all of Union City and Doug Bobo of Troy.

He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty Bobo.
