Ida Elaine White, 68, of Union City, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born on June 25, 1956, in Leighton, Alabama, she was the beloved daughter of the late Eli Felton, Sr. and Mary (Thorne) Felton.

Elaine dedicated 30 years of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where her compassion and care touched many lives. She was known for her love of people, her cooking skills, and her generosity in sharing meals. Elaine also enjoyed making quilts, solving puzzles, traveling, doing hair, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, George Kelly Felton of Union City; her sister, Bessie White (Curtis) of Union City; her brothers, Howard James Felton of Evansville, Indiana, and Johnny Lee Felton of Union City. Elaine was a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Fletcher, and her brothers, Marvin Felton, Wayne Felton, Ronnie Felton, and Eli Felton, Jr.

A memorial visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who will be dearly missed.
