Mr. Edward Leroy Hunter, Jr., 68, of Union City passed away 11:49 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. There will be no services at this time.

Mr. Hunter was born December 10, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, son of the late Edward Leroy Hunter, Sr. and Barbara (Pray) Hunter Allen. He married Lena (Sims) Hunter November 15, 1975. She survives. He worked as a tile setter.

He is also survived by one daughter, Angela Hamm of Kenton; five grandchildren, Adyn Whitworth, Kasha Whitworth, Jasper Freeze, Alex Freeze and Autumn Freeze all of Kenton; two sisters, Mary Jane Whitehouse of Dyersburg and Kim Ransom of Southaven, Mississippi; and three brothers, David Hunter of Dukedom, Larry Hunter of McKenzie and Giles Allen Hunter of North Carolina.
