Mrs. Edna (French) McIntosh, 93, of Union City passed away 12:15 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Matthew Nance will officiate. Entombment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David McIntosh, Travis McIntosh, Aaron Scott, Mark Tarkington, Norman Davis and Chris Kerley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the 39er's Senior Group and the Lael Sunday School class.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Mrs. McIntosh was born August 10, 1927, in Knoxville, daughter of the late E.B. and Maude (Arms) French. She married James William "Jim" McIntosh August 27, 1950. He preceded her in death December 27, 2012. Edna had been employed in the cafeteria at the former Westover School, a floral designer at the former Whitby's Flower Shop and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City, the 39er's Senior Group and the Lael Sunday School class. Edna was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by two sons, Tim McIntosh (Carolyn Collier) and Ted McIntosh (Tammy) all of Union City; six grandchildren, Tina McIntosh of Springfield, Missouri, David McIntosh (Gina) of Troy, Travis McIntosh (Deanna) of Lone Oak, Kentucky, Traci McIntosh of Union City, Nikki Scott (Aaron) of Dukedom and LaWanda Alfred (Jeff) of South Fulton; six great grandchildren, Rylee McIntosh and Finlee McIntosh both of Troy, Skyler McIntosh of Lone Oak, Kentucky, Amelia Scott and Ellie Scott both of Dukedom, Charlie Alfred of South Fulton and Jonathan Bloodworth of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters; and six brothers.
