Edna (McCord) Holifield, 82, of Union City passed away 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020, at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Jeff Kenee will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Doug Koon, John Donnell, Gerald Donnell, Jackson Donnell, Rick Wilson and Monty Mooney.

Edna was born June 21, 1937, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Lester Garrett McCord and the late Helen Irene (Orr) Levister. She was the widow of Jack Holified who preceded her in death on August 15, 1977. Edna had been employed by Goldsmiths and Dillards. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hoppe of Pensacola, Florida; her grandson, Doug Koon of New York City, New York; and her sister, Bernice Shore of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Barry Williams.
