Obituary

Edith (Heck) Hall, 98, of Union City passed away 3:50 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the Obion County Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery near Murray, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hall, Skylar Hall, Ron Russell, Zac Jones, Hailey Batts and Tracy Sawyer.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Mrs. Hall was born October 2, 1922, in Speedwell, Tennessee, daughter of the Tilman and Kate (Miracle) Heck. She married Leroy Hall January 25, 1946. He preceded her in death April 9, 2011. Edith had been employed as a "Rosie the Riveter" atDesoto Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan during World War II and later became a beautician. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City and the Cadiz, Kentucky Homemakers Club.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Galen and Valerie Hall of Union City; one grandson and his wife, Jason and Cindy Hall of Union City; one granddaughter and her husband, Melissa and Ron Russell of Union City; and four great grandchildren, Skylar Hall, Keatyn Hall and Zac Jones all of Union City and Hailey Batts of Greenfield.

She was also preceded in death by one infant sister; and six brothers.
