Mr. Eddie Lynn Forrester, Sr., 75, of Rives passed away 10:07 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Eddie was born June 28, 1948, in Obion County, son of the late Leroy and Geneva Inez (Beard) Forrester.  He married Martha Sue (Stewart) Forrester March 27, 1967.  She survives.  He worked for Southern Concrete Products and Jimmy Hayes Motor Company.  Eddie loved fishing on the river and spending time with his family.

He is also survived by one son, Eddie Forrester (Brandie) of Kenton; three daughters, Angela Mitchell (Jimmy) of Dresden, Pam Finch of Troy and Patricia Harris (Jason) of Rives; nine grandchildren, Sarah Cates, Amy Mitchell, Nate Finch, Noah Finch, Seth Forrester, Garrett Forrester, Devyn Forrester, Grace Harris and Jase Harris; three great grandchildren, Mason Forrester, Olivia Cates and Connor Wherry; two brothers, Larry Forrester (Cynthia) of Shawtown and Dennis Forrester (Nell) of Winchester, Indiana; two sisters, Hilda Ash (Cloyd) of Union City and Charolette Forrester of Shawtown.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Forrester and Franklin Forrester; and his son-in-law, Chris Finch.
