Obituary

Mr. Edward "Ed" Luedeke, 71, of Union City passed away 9:17 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, at Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Humbolt.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery near Clinton, Kentucky. Brother Rick Burton will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Chad Luedeke, Brock Luedeke, Nick Luedeke, Curtis Weatherford and Ben Burnette.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests memorials be made to Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .

Ed was born March 30, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, son  of the late William and Gloria (Kettler) Luedeke. He married Ginger (Quillen) Luedeke November 28, 1994. She survives. Ed retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 41 years of service and served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodland Mills.

He is also survived by two sons, Chad Luedeke (Christina) of Union City and Brock Luedeke (Amy) of Pensacola, Florida; one stepdaughter, Joye Workman (Tracy) of Clinton, Kentucky; one sister, Linda Hence of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Nick Luedeke of Union City, Samantha Weatherford of Clinton, Kentucky and Jaclyn Burnette of Fulton, Kentucky; and four great grandchildren, Emmett Weatherford and Blakley Weatherford both of Clinton, Kentucky and Ward Burnette and Heidi Burnette both of Fulton, Kentucky.
