Obituary

Dudley K. Hodge, 78, of South Fulton passed away 2:20 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Gary Rose and Brother Carl Kizer will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be George Hooper, Steve Burgess, Dwayne Hodge, David Fowler, Johnny Eaton and Ted Davis.

Dudley was born October 19, 1938, in Lewis County, Tennessee, son of the late Frank and Maudie (Cole) Hodge. He married Christine (Vaughn) Hodge November 17, 1956. She survives. Dudley retired as a welder from the former Central Metal Products in South Fulton in 2001 after 30 years of service and was a member of The Peoples Place Assembly of God in South Fulton.

He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Lisa Hodge of South Fulton and Daniel and Jessica Hodge of Clarksville; four grandchildren, Jason Hodge, Alisha (Jesse) Hedge and Melanie Hodge all of South Fulton and Kolton Hodge of Clarksville; and seven great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, David Hodge; one great granddaughter, Ember Hodge; two sisters, Elsie Pulley and Beatrice Henson; and two brothers, Jesse Hodge and Willie Hodge.
