Obituary

Mr. Douglas H. Prather, 88, formerly of Ramer died 4:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2009, at the Obion County Nursing Home. He is the father and father-in-law of James "J.P." and Teri Prather of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer, Tennessee. Rev. Tommy Wilder will officiate. Burial will follow in Ramer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
