Douglas Edward Gaskins, 50, of the Brownsville (Ky) community passed away 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Brownsville Cemetery.  Brother Gary Poe will officiate.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the time of services.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Doug was born August 17, 1969, in Obion County, son of the late James and Dorothy (Morrow) Gaskins. He married Regina (Walters) Gaskins February 15, 2006. She survives. He worked for the City of Hickman from 1992-2012 from being Captain and Instructor for Fire & EMS, EMT and 911 Dispatch Supervisor until he medically retired.

He is also survived by one son, Blake Callahan (Calvina); one grandson, Braxton Callahan; one granddaughter, Cydney Callahan all of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two sisters, Rhonda Shepherd (Donald) of Union City and Tracy Gaskins of Tallopoosa, Missouri; one brother, Perry Gaskins of Sikeston, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Gaskins and Donald Gaskins.
