Dot Greer 1933-2014
Mrs. Dorothy Sue "Dot" Greer, 81, of Fulton died 1:14 p.m. Sunday at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Obion County Memorial Gardens near Union City. Brother Stephen Cavness will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be sent to Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, Tennessee 37214-0800 or the charity of donors choice.
Mrs. Greer was born June 14, 1933, in Union City, daughter of the late E.C. and Evelyn (Powell) Mosley. She married Joseph Pierce "J.P." Greer May 19, 1951. He died June 4, 2013. She was retired from the Ferry-Morse Seed Company and was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Mike Britt of Wingo; two sons and a daughter-in law, Eddie Joe and Colette Greer of Union City and Greg Greer of Murray; five grandchildren, April Phillips of Union City, Joseph Britt of Wingo, Ean Cross Greer of Martin, Audrey Caroline Greer of Nashville and Garrett Wells of Union City; two great grandchildren, Christopher Jordan Britt - Pannell of Fulton and Hannah Elizabeth Pannell of Union City.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Mosley.
