Dorothy Snead's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Helen Snead, 91, of Union City passed away Sunday night, November 22, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery located near Clinton, Ky. Rev. Judd Mowery will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to service time.
Mrs. Snead was born December 16, 1923, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late James H. and Argie (Williams) Provow. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Nathan Tanner of Fulton, Ky.; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Betty Snead of Springfield, Tn.; one granddaughter, Wendy Evans of Clinton, Ky.; one great grandson, Justin Evans of Clinton, Ky. and four great great grandchildren, Halle Evans, Gavin Evans and Jackson Evans all of Clinton, Ky. and Hayes Kirk of Murray, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Snead, Sr.; one son, George A. Snead, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Lacey Evans Henderson; two brothers, James H. Provow and Ernest Provow and three sisters, Irene Spann, Aleta Trusty and Nell Lunsford.
