Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Prince, 77, of Union City died 8:28 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Billy Prince Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Obion Cemetery near Wingo, Kentucky.

Mrs. Prince was born March 20, 1932, in Wingo, Kentucky, daughter of the late Fred and Lela (Pittman) Mullins. She married Bill Prince on July 12, 1952. He survives. She had been employed at the former H.I.S. in Fulton and Community Development Service in Martin. She was a member of Little Obion Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her daughter, Marla Smith of Union City; her grandson, Matthew Venne of Union City; three sisters, Robbie Mullins of Wingo, Kentucky, Anita Prince of Fulgam, Kentucky and Bonnie Garland of Dublin, Kentucky; and her brother, Danny Mullins of Mayfield, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Monette Parker.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Roger Jackson, Shane Ray, Mark Mullins, Dennis Mullins, Rob McClure and Kym Green.
