Mrs. Dorothy Pauline McCullough, 96, of Union City passed away 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Darren Doss, Jackson Doss, Jonathan Doss, Curt True and Chris True.
Mrs. McCullough was born August 15, 1921, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ed and Kitty (Ferrell) Nipp. She married Everett Jackson McCullough August 9, 1939. He preceded her in death August 25, 1968. Mrs. McCullough had been employed as a seamstress and a retail clerk and was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Staten of Union City; three granddaughters and the spouse of one, Darren and Sandra Doss of Union City, Connie Bargery of Camden and Suzi Staten of Columbia; five great grandchildren, Rebecca Bargery, Jackson Doss and Jonathan Doss all of Union City, and Emily Bargery and Laci Bargery both of Camden; one sister, Maurice McKinnis of Union City; and one brother and sister-in-law, Ferrell and Sue Nipp of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Floyd Staten; two sisters, Christine Swaney and Daurice Dorton; and two brothers, Arie Ferrell and Charles Alton Ferrell.
