Dorothy Huffman's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Lois Huffman, 68, of Tiptonville died 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at her home.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Ridgely. Brother Paul Adams will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Huffman was born February 3, 1946, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Walter Leland and Elizabeth Elvia (Ayres) Ballard. She married Joseph Huffman in 1985. He died April 1, 2006.
Mrs. Huffman had been employed at Mueller Brass Company in Covington and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Kristie Shafton of Tiptonville and Theresa Corning of Ipswitch, Massachusetts; two sons, Gerald Shafton of Orlando, Florida and Robert Shafton of Wollaston, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; three great granddaughters; and her special friends, Claude and Teresa Salmon of Tiptonville.
