Mrs. Dorothy Lee (Tate) Grisham, 74, of Rives died 4:45 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Jimmy Smith and Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery .

Mrs. Grisham was born August 14, 1935, in Obion County, daughter of the late Jack and Tempie (Turnage) Tate. She married Billy Gene Grisham on October 31, 1953. He survives. She had been employed at the former Old & Third National Bank as a bookkeeper and at First State Bank as a teller and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie (Grisham) and Stan Trahan of Cordova; her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Cheri Grisham of Union City; four grandchildren, Brandi Grisham and Cameron Grisham both of Union City and Connor Trahan and Colt Trahan both of Cordova; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buddy and Carolyn Grisham of Rives and her sister-in-law, Patsy Tate of Sulphur, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her brother; Billy Jack Tate.

The family will receive friends in the Rosewood Room of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Grisham, Ned Bigelow, Ricky Conner, W.T. Hime, Hollis Woody and Clint Gantt.
