Dorothy Galloway's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Elaine (Coleman) Galloway, 90, of Union City passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at the home of her daughter in Plainfield, Connecticut.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery near Elbridge.
Mrs. Galloway was born August 22, 1927, in the Minnick community, daughter of the late
Charlie Lee "C.L." and Susie Frances (Wakefield) Coleman. She retired as a teller from the
former First American Bank after 30 years of service and was a member of
Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Mark Thayer of Plainfield, Connecticut; two grandchildren, Andria Jones of Union City and Joshua Wade Thayer
of Plainfield, Connecticut; two great grandchildren and the spouse of one, Caitlin and
Kaleb Byars of Martin and Will Jones of McKenzie.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Wade Galloway; and four sisters, Eunice Stover,
Leanna Nettles, Eula Collins and Evelyn Gunter.
