Mrs. Dorothy Loutishia Courtney, 65, of Hornbeak passed away suddenly Monday, April 6, 2015, at her home.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Courtney was born August 4, 1949, in Kountze, Texas, daughter of the late Elwood and Rosilee (Burrows) Redd. She married William Daniel Courtney June 19, 2001. He survives. Mrs. Courtney was a homemaker and a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church.
She is also survived by three daughters, Marilyn Sickles and Vivian Tressler both of Protage, Indiana and Vicki Parks of North Dakota; one sister, Pamela Folse of Texas; two brothers, Stephen Redd and Ramzie Redd both of Texas; and six grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Nelson; and one brother, Michael Redd.
