Doris Marie (Osborne) Wheatley, 54, of Obion passed away 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Vann Kissell will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Mike Armour, Thomas Ellison, Richard Shane Mosley, Parker McMinn, Jeff McMinn, Roy Lee Ellsion and Stevie Joe Cunningham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stephanie Mosley, Carrie Mealer, Michelle Hill, Mandy Corum, Laurie Rea, Alyssa McMinn, Lyndey Johnson and Wendy Pruett.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Wags and Whiskers, P.O. Box 472, Union City, Tennessee 38281.

Doris was born October 21, 1961, in Union City, daughter of the late Thomas Jerry and Vernell (Fortner) Osborne. She married Ralph "Arnold" Wheatley, Jr. December 6, 1997. He died December 17, 2014. Doris retired after 25 years of service as a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Union City and had also been employed as a merchandiser for Hallmark. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodland Mills.

She is survived by four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Patricia (Osborne) and Charles Nolan of Troy, Sherry (Osborne) and Roy Lee Ellison of Rives and Glenda (Osborne) Hill and Peggy (Osborne) and Jeffrey McMinn all of Union City; her beloved pets, Lucy and Max; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
