Obituary

Mrs. Doris Ann Toon, 61, of Union City passed away 12:43 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Josh Weaver, Justin Taylor, Dylan Stamper, Cody Willingham, Connor Roberts, Derek Stamper, Cameron Roberts, and Craig Stamper.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Kyle Matthew Toon Memorial Civil Engineering Endowment.

Doris was born April 25, 1964, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, daughter of the late Carl Gary and Joyce (Baggett) Willingham. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Toon, whom she married on August 9, 1985. She worked for 30 years at McDonald’s in Union City and Dresden as general manager. She was a member of the First Church of God in Union City. Doris was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Basketball and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan.

She is also survived by one brother, Carl “Tommy” Willingham and wife Karen of Union City; two sisters, Marie Roberts and husband Chris of Bloomington, Illinois and Cathy Willingham of Union City; four uncles, Roy Baggett and wife Sharon of Parsons, Ralph Stamper and wife Jeanie of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, Norbert Toon and wife Winnie of Colorado, and Donald Baggett and wife Janet of Union City; one aunt, Cil Chappel of Paducah, Kentucky; and one brother-in-law, Shannon Toon (Sydney Alexander) of Memphis.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Kyle Matthew Toon; two brothers, Jimmy Dale Willingham and Gary Donald Willingham; five aunts, Ann Goff, Martha Goff, Lucille Willingham, Sadie Williams and Nancy Darnall; and five uncles, McKinley Baggett, Harold Gene Baggett, Gary Baggett, Billy Baggett and Laymon Baggett.
