Ms. Doris Ann Milner, 85, of South Fulton passed away 7:15 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Rev. Glenn Watts will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Fulton, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held at Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Greg Hosfield, Chris Henry, Jay Day, Ray Madding, Landon Cooke, Tom Milner and Robert Pruett.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to South Fulton Elementary Library, 209 John C. Jones Parkway, South Fulton, Tennessee 38257 or Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 631 East Church Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261.
Ms. Milner was born September 30, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Claude Ramsey and Lillie Love (Parker) Williams. Doris graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor of science degree in education. She retired from South Fulton Elementary School after 36 years of service. Doris was a member of the Obion County Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Education Sorority, and the Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a former elder, Sunday School teacher, member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women and the 51 Couples Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin Bradshaw (Ken) of Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Michael Milner (Gigi) of Fulton, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Greg Hosfield (Jessica) of Lexington, Kentucky, First Lieutenant Grant Hosfield (Jamie) of Oahu, Hawaii, Sarah Michael Henry (Chris) of Denver, Colorado and Susannah Day (Jay) of Richland, Washington; five great grandchildren, Ellis Hosfield of Lexinton, Kentucky, Sterling Hosfield of Oahu, Hawaii and Parker Henry, Miles Henry and Elliott Henry all of Denver, Colorado; one niece, Linda Cooke Sheikh (Muzaffar) of Birmingham, Alabama; one nephew, Landon Cooke of Coldwater, Mississippi; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Housman Williams of Paducah, Kentucky.
She was also preceded in death by one sister; one brother; and one niece.
