Doris Bright, 80, of Troy passed away 1:40 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2022, at The Waters of Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy. John Bright will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of the flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.

Doris was born September 14, 1941, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Charlie and Hazel (Carroll) Cunningham. She married Buddy Bright June 7, 1964. He survives. Doris was a homemaker.

She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Laura Bright of Troy; two grandchildren, Will Bright of Clovis, New Mexico and Anna Bright of New York City, New York, three sisters, Anita Black of Orlando, Florida, Sandra Shaw of Union City and Vicki Parham of Medina; and two brothers, Donald Cunningham of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Larry Cunningham (Regina) of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one grandson, David Bright; and two brothers, Dale Cunningham and Doug Cunningham.
