Obituary

Dora M. (VanValkenburg) Cranford, 60, of Union City went home to be with the Lord 8:03 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at her home.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday. There will be a time for family and friends to share memories of Dora beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Dora was born October 29, 1960, in Lancaster, Ohio, daughter of Paul L. VanValkenburg, Sr. of Troy and the late Anna Mae (Tucker) VanValkenburg. She married Steve Cranford May 28, 2004. He survives. Dora had been employed at Ruler Foods in Martin. She enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dora was a Christian and never met a stranger.

She is also survived by three daughters, Kimberly Roberts Fowlkes (Jake) of Union City, Karyl Wager Willis (Dickie) of Obion and Amanda Cranford of Union City; one son Joseph Wager (fiancee Sarah Alexander) of Sharon; six grandchildren, Austin-Dale Jefferson serving with the United States Air Force in Germany, Alexandria Jefferson of Bernville, Pennsylvania, Cameron Harris and Anna Kate Fowlkes both of Union City and Eden Wager and Eliza Wager both of Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Cathy VanValkenburg of Troy and Cheryl VanValKenburg of Wisconsin; and two brothers, Donald VanValkenburg (Angele) of Troy and Paul L. VanValkenburg, Jr. (Sharon) of Anaheim, California.

She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Maggie Mae VanValkenburg; and her first husband, Jimmy Dale Roberts.
