A celebration of life service for Donnie will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Kendall Family Cemetery in the Shawtown community. Friends and family members will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until 12:20 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Dale Treece, Charles Gray, Jimmy Kirk, Randy Davis, Mark Cook and Keith Kendall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Davis, Glen Kendall, Ted Kendall, Josh Cheatham, Turner Lee McFarland and Daniel Mitchell.
Donnie was born December 5, 1942, in Obion County, son of the late Luther and Marie (Flippen) Kendall. He married the former Patsy Lynch on April 28, 1967. She survives. He was the owner of Kendall Timber Company and a member of Fremont Church of Christ.
He is also survived by two daughers and a son-in-law, Kelli and Randy Davis of Dyersburg and Amy Kendall of the Shawtown community; four sons and daughters-in-law, Kelvin and Angie Kendall of Hornbeak, Jamie and Dixie Kendall of Geneva, New York and Joe and Dianne Kendall and John and Dana Kendall all of the Shawtown community; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Brewer of the Shawtown community and Jan Ragsdale of the Crystal community; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ada Lou Kendall of Union City, Glen and Lynette Kendall of Hickman, Kentucky and Ted and Judy Kendall of Gallatin; fifteen grandchildren, Blake Davis, Brandi Davis, Brooke Davis, Jackson Kendall, Aiden Quinn, Shelby Kendall, Parker Kendall, Brendan Kendall, Caroline Kendall, Logan Kendall, Aubrey Kendall, Destiny Kendall, Layla Kendall, John Kendall II and Easton Kendall; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Kendall.
The family requests memorials be made to the Obion County Cancer Agency, P.O. Box 482, Union City, Tennessee 38281.
