Donnie Guynn's Obituary
Donald Everett "Donnie" Guynn, 71, of State Line Road near Union City passed away 1:22 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Montgomery, Ty Inmon, Chris Guynn, Clay Ryan, Heath Ryan and Dustin Wherry.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Second Baptist Church Journey of Faith , 831 N. Everett Blvd., Union City, Tennessee 38261.
Donnie was born September 7, 1946, in Obion County, son of the late Jakey Louis and Ida Denette (Guthrie) Guynn. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City for 51 years. Donnie had been a supervisor at Kohler for 35 years and worked 7 years at Nordyne in Dyersburg. He enjoyed farm life and raising a garden each year. Donnie was also a beekeeper, raised goats and was noted for the Jersey beef and Berkshire hogs he raised.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diana (Toland) Guynn; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Peggy Guynn of Murray, Kentucky; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Barbara and Henry Inmon, Gloria and Hale C. Montgomery and Kim and Kenneth Johnson and Jackie Baird all of Union City; one sister-in-law and husband, Janie and Larry Ryan of Murray, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Guynn, Michael Guynn and Terry Guynn.
