Donna Staten, 78, of Union City passed away 10:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the home of her daughter Sandra Doss.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Doss, Jonathan Doss, Don Fuller, Chris True, Craig True and Curt True.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Allen, Hunter Cloar and Jack Williams.

Donna was born January 1, 1945, in Union City, daughter of the late Everett Jackson and Dorothy Pauline (Nipp) McCullough. She married Floyd Staten, Jr. August 28, 1966. He preceded her in death January 20, 2013. Donna retired from the Obion County Health Department as a registered nurse. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School class.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Doss and Connie Bargery both of Union City and Suzanne Staten of Paragould, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Rebecca Bargery of Clinton, Kentucky, Emily Cloar and husband Hunter, Lacy Bargery, Jackson Doss and Jonathan Doss all of Union City; one aunt, Maurice McKinnis of Union City; and one uncle, Ferrell Nipp of Union City.
