Mrs. Donna May Rice, 68, of Union City passed away 5:57 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Ray Cagle will officiate. Burial will follow in New Concord Cemetery in Kenton.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Eric Halford, Trey Halford, Blake Simpson, Ryan Shanklin, Curtis Shanklin and Quinton Hendricks.

Donna was born November 14, 1954, in Union City, daughter of the late Frances Halford. She married Robert Eugene "Bob" Rice August 27, 2020. He survives. She worked as a registered nurse and was a member of Union City First United Pentecostal Church.

She is also survived by one son, Jodie Adams of Union City; four daughters, Elana Adams of Union City, Diane Yactzac, Kristen O'Brien and Alma Barnett all of Christopher, Illinois; two brothers, Terry Halford (Loretta) of Kenton and Harold Halford (Vickie) of Mason Hall; and numerous grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Halford and Shirley Halford.
