Donna Dailey Dyer, 76, of Union City passed away 3:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Pat Murdock will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy White, Phil Owens, Donnie Johnson, Paul Tate, Russ Matheny, Rene Garcia, Jeremy Lyell and Kelly Walker.

Honorary pallbearers will be member of the West Tennessee Pokers Club.

Donna was born March 28, 1947, in Union City, daughter of the late Herbert and Zillah (Thomas) Dailey. She married Jerry Dyer June 7, 1965. He preceded her in death December 28, 2020. Donna had been employed as a school bus driver at Woodland Mills, Dixie and Lake Road School for 28 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hornbeak, was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the West Tennessee Poker Club.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Dyer and wife Tracy of Union City; two daughters, Kelly Dyer of Buffalo, Missouri and Jody Fetcher and husband Scott of Rowlett, Texas; four grandchildren, Joshua Dyer and wife Loretta of Paris, Aaron Dyer and wife Sarah of Newbern, Brittany Barnes of Knoxville and Jessica Barnes of Union City; seven great grandchildren, Elena Adamovicz of Des Moines, Iowas, Peytan Korn, Brian Korn and Mason Korn all of Union City, Jackson Dyer and Kinzleigh Dyer both of Paris and Stetson Dyer of Newbern; her sister-in-law, Sue Martin of Troy; and her brother-in-law, John Dyer and wife Jenny of Corinth, Mississippi.
