Hugh Donald Dial, 86, of Woodland Mills passed away 2:35 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at Diversicare of Martin.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at East View Cemetery. Brother Chip Davis will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donald was born November 21, 1936, in Obion County, son of the late John W. and Naomi (Blanton) Dial. He married Almarene (Davis) Dial October 12, 1958. She preceded him in death December 27, 2013. Donald had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and served in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Melissa Dial of Union City; two sons, Randy Dial of Roy, Utah and Brent Dial and wife Lori of Paris; one brother, Bobby Dial and wife Jo Ann of Troy; seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Damon Dial and Larry Dial.
