Donald Howard "Don" "Duck" Rice, 69, of Troy passed away 11:34 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Don was born April 2, 1953, in Union City, son of Betty (Daniels) Pendergrass of Union City and the late Howard Lee Rice. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother he is survived by four sons, Jason Rice, Caleb Rice, Zach Rice and Tyler Rice all of Troy; and six grandchildren.
