Mr. Don Otto, 64, of Hornbeak died Friday, February 22, 2013, at his home.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Mr. Otto was born December 7, 1948, in Clinton, Iowa, son of Marvin H. and Marilyn (Nealson) Otto of Clinton, Iowa. He retired after forty five years of service with Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a member of Elvira Zion Lutheran Church in Elvira, Iowa and a founding member of the Eastern Iowa Thrasher Association. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Roxanne Otto of Clinton, Iowa; his sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Steve Dilling of Rochelle, Illinois; and five nieces.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Otto.
