Mr. Don Larry Ellen, 75, of Martin passed away 9:32 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Harborview Nursing Home in Dyersburg.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Marcus McClure will officiate. Burial will follow in Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle Cemetery in Water Valley, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Jackson, Mike Poyner, Mitchell Poyner, Dean Poyner, Josh Darnall, Josh Aldridge, Dillon Faught and Hunter Faught.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Don was born May 20, 1945, in Hokes Bluff, Alabama, son of the late William "Bill" and Gertrude (Barbaree) Ellen. He married Ellen Elizabeth (Washburn) Ellen in 1967. She preceded him in death February 26, 2015. Don retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 35 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by three daughters, Robin Jackson (Dewayne) of Woodland Mills, Patricia Poyner (Michael) of Martin and Donnie Sue Ellen of Martin; one sister, Glenda Justice of Alabama; four grandchildren, Dean Poyner and Mitchell Poyner both of Martin, Nina Darnall of Union City and Kailey Lear of Woodland Mills; and nine great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Whitworth; and three brothers, Dean Ellen, Phillip Ellen and Jimmy Ellen.
