Mr. William Donald "Don" Craddock, 71, of the Clayton community died 10:05 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eric Burress and Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Randy Craddock, Johnny Craddock, Allen Craddock, Michael Craddock, Michael McNeely and Paul Goodman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Haynes, Aubrey Smith, Ronnie Craddock, Jamie Roach, Scotty Craddock, Gerald Craddock and Steve Alexander.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to David's Chapel Baptist Church, 172 State Route 925, Hickman, Kentucky 42050, Walnut Log Baptist Church, 3834 Old Samburg Road, Hornbeak, Tennessee 38232 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Mr. Craddock was born March 4, 1942, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late H.C. "Haughty" and Lottie Bell (Williams) Craddock. He married Shirley Ann (Goodman) Craddock May 28, 1966. She survives. He was the owner of the former Craddock's Grocery and the former Craddock's Used Cars. Mr. Craddock was a member of David's Chapel Baptist Church in Brownsville, Kentucky.
He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Alisha Craddock of Union City and Billy and Jennifer Craddock of the Clayton community; his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Jay Hatchett of Salina, Kansas; nine grandchildren and the spouse of one; Kelsey Craddock and Brady Craddock both of Union City, Laurie and David Kissell and Lindsey Craddock all of the Clayton community and Reese Hatchett, Emily Hatchett, Jackson Hatchett, Abby Hatchett and Jacob Wayne Hatchett all of Salina, Kansas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Helen Craddock of Union City and Dale and Kathy Craddock of Alabama; and his sister, Evelene Vowell of Memphis.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Buck Craddock, Lloyd Craddock, Tom Craddock and Avery Dee Craddock; and his sister, Gertrude Craddock.
