Dolores Ann Thomas, 89, of Union City passed away 6:30 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Union City Health & Rehabilitation.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Hickman City Cemetery. Jackson Doss will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dolores was born July 8, 1936, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late R.B. and Elaine (Norris) Phipps. She married Alton Thomas on June 19, 1955. He preceded her in death September 20, 2019. Dolores had been employed at the former Reid Taxidermy and the former Bondurant Taxidermy.
She is survived by her four children, Barry Thomas (Gina) of Union City, Mark Thomas (Anna) of Paducah, Kentucky, Felicia Kirk (Bennett) of Union City and Brent Thomas (Donna) of Valdosta, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Pollock (Joe) of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Seth Thomas (Melissa) of Louisville, Kentucky, Abby Thomas of Paducah, Kentucky, Chance Kirk (Nicole) of Manchester, Darcey Boswell (Justin) of Union City, Jessica Chessor of Rives and Blake Thomas and Mackenzie Budzinsky (Ryan) all of Valdosta, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Reed Neihoff of Paducah, Kentucky, Gracie Kirk of Manchester and Everett Budzinskey of Valdosta, Georgia; and one half sister, Diane Sellers of Texas.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Phillips and Richard Phillips.
