Mr. Dietzel Thrible Criswell, 88, of Troy passed away 6:55 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Obion County Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Criswell will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Criswell will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Troy Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

Pallbearers will be Mike Morgan, Mike Revell, Danny Quinn, Chad Marinik, John Richardson and Ron McCullar.

Mr. Criswell was born June 11, 1927, in Obion County, son of the late Lee Nelley and Clidy Mae (Roberson) Criswell. He married Janette (Lyon) Criswell March 26, 1949. She survives. He was a lifetime farmer and member of Greater Vision Church of God.

He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy and David Oats of Temple, Tx. and Nancy and Danny Rivers of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Millie Criswell of Troy and Danny and Elin Criswell of Georgetown, Tx.; three sisters and brother-in-law, Margie Revell of Union City; Grace Rambo of Obion and Rose and Ilar Warren of Union City; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Pierce Lee Criswell and James David Criswell; one sister, Lydia Bea Brandon and one granddaughter, Jerri Ann Criswell.
