Dewayne Wilson, 51, of Hornbeak passed away 10:45 a.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Carl Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Todd Jernigan, Michael Hamm, Dewayne Deal, Brad Woody, Richie Smith and Scott Webb.

Dewayne was born December 12, 1967, in Tiptonville, son of Marguerite (Jerden) Wilson of Hornbeak and the late James Milton Wilson. He had been employed at Art Craft Sign Company in Dyersburg and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is also survived by one daughter, Miranda Carroll (Rick) of Martin; one son, Chandler Wilson of Troy; two sisters, Rhonda Dawson of Troy and Lindy Hodge of Union City; five grandchildren, Izabella Carroll, Maddisyn Carroll, Abigail Faye Stacy, Ethan Gene Stacy and Damian Carroll all of Martin; and four great granddaughters, Hailey Carroll, Marie Carroll, Annabeth Carroll and Willow Carroll all of Martin.
