Destry Blaine Haynes, 36, of Rives passed away Tuesday morning, July 22, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery. Brother Charles Southerland and Brother Gary Haynes will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Destry was born November 9, 1988, in Union City, son of the late Bret Timothy Haynes and Tracey (Linder) Haynes of Rives.  He graduated from Obion County Central High School in 2007. After graduation, Destry served in the United States Air Force for 17 years in avionics until he retired.

He is also survived by one brother, Dakota Haynes of Rives; four uncles, Mike Haynes (Emily) of Union City, Gary Haynes (Pat) of Union City, Scott Linder of Wingo, Kentucky and Kenneth Dodd of Union City; one aunt, Shelia Haynes of Union City; and several cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Shane Linder.
